Blood pulsed thickly through veins, tempting the darkness to eat it whole. Thick dial twisted around, flashing throbbing veins. Temptation was hard to control... how sweet would it be to sink the fangs into the sleek flesh, to feel the blood drain away. The brute was a temptation, a ghostly skeleton drenched in the ashy hues. A sign hung about his neck, touch not or die. limbs tread upon the earth with little indifference for the gashes stretching behind like trenches. Calased pads tore with greed at the pale blades, once emerald and vibrant. Yet now they were dead and disgusting. Labrums curled back in what could be called a grin, yet it was hideous, a slow widening of pale lips into a humorless line. Soldiers hustled forth, called upon by the mind of the dryad. They clashed and fought at each other, until in perfect rows flashing at the prey. It was deathly silent, except for the funeral chant of claws engaging with earth. No creatures peered out from the gloomy inners of the forest, nor birds flew up high. Only crows, staring oddly at the demon. Mirrored voids stared back, until the tension reached a breaking point and the crows flew towards safety.
Charred physique swayed from side to side, weaving a hypnotic spell. Oh desire.. how it raged in his soul. He had grown tired waiting. And now the need to see a beast had led him to venture out. Slitted chasms glared about with unusual keeness, the drumming of talons quieting rocking acoustics. "Ah, where were they all? Come out my pretties.." Crooned soft vocals. Frown disrupted facial expression, pulling down the edges of his velveteens. Time ticked away slowly as he was escorted forth, down the dark abyss of the path. Light was swallowed with the gloom, and the musky scent of death whipped towards his nares. Tongue lolled out, but the craziness was suppressed by vicious tug on leash. He could not let his insane side take over.. not yet. But the blood tempted him, as he seducted others. limbs shuffled to a frozen poise, banner casscading down to the ground and curves shown eagerly. A slow, humorless, smile painted onto face as bloodshot occuli flickered briefly behind shades, sacrificing the light for the precious darkness. The darkness that ruled all, that could send the merest of beasts to the depths of insanity and hell. Tongue rolled over sharpened soldiers, heaving the blood splotches still stained over through thorax. Quite simply this drove him crazy, and without the control he held he would rip apart the next thing he saw, shred it into pieces and feel the thick, crimson liquid spill into his mug. Crooked apex shook wildly, jerking back tapestries from slender cou. Flutes rocked back and forth in lightning flicks, catching the barest of echoes.
"Oh.. what was this?" A smug smirk flashed upon mug and head cracked to one side. Bones creaked and clacked against each other as he slowly pivoted about, striding through the darkness. Lips twisted into a grotesque formation, somewhat resembling amusement. Blunt snort cleared nasals as he acknowledged his own presence. Pistons shuffled forth until he sidled up next to a tree, nearly touching. And there he stood, letting his rasped vocals catch the air. Ooids locked upon the tree, higher up than his, and blood smeared labrums parted. A sickly foul stench flew out from his mouth, as blood caked pearls peered out.
"Where is the d**ned creatures? Why must they hide? Are they scared of little ol'me?."
Poisoned honey lyrics hissed with a slight wheeze from bruisied lungs. A recent battle, the outcome a pained frontal volume. But he had lived through it, as always. A cruel, knowing grin stooped towards face, making his face even less appealing. So far he was wondering what the hell he wanted here. Though others might have known that he had not been here for long, and now desired to claim it. They would have to tear through him first before telling him no. Slowly thorns laced down slickly to skull, and he strolled away from the tree, turning a full circle round it, inspecting. Nape snaked forward in dangerous curves, fangs snapping near the tree's skeleton but never coming near.
Already he could feel a pressure building in his soul, awakened by the sighting of the unholy thins. A sickly dreanged grin spread invitingly upon the bloodied kissers, a funeral chant seeping from maw. The words were inaudible, but the humming was eerie.
